This very popular Bing free online game Text Twist 2 is an updated more powerful version of the original Text Twist (version 1.) As usual, Bing provides comprehensive instructions which at first seem a bit complex, until you increase the font size of your screen and the "how to" instructions become more clear. Easy to see is related to easy to understand by the simple rule that (up to a point,) the bigger the picture or text, the easier the message is to understand. For those of us who like word games which make you brain do mental gymnastics, this is for you. Probably easier for those folks who read a lot, won the spelling bee in school or diligently play the crossword puzzles in your favorite newspaper. For the uninitiated, the game gives you a list of letters from which you have to form as many words having three letters or more as you can. You choose whether the game is timed or not. The colors have good contrast and the font is clear. The boxes into which you drag the letters can be made as big as you like using your browser's tools. The sounds are clear and reinforcing. In my opinion, this version of the game is easy to use and easy to understand "out of the box" if you have used version 1. If you are a novice, it will require reading the instructions or a little training before you know exactly what to do, but once learned, the steps and rules are simple. But don't expect to get all the possible words, especially if the game is timed. It is easy to get at least one word right, and hard to get them all. And you don't have to use the keyboard to use the game, a simple mouse will do. It is a great game for seniors to keep the mind active, and a wonderful game to play with the whole family.
