Features
JBL's On Air Wireless Airplay speaker dock really makes listening to music easy. It has a dock connector on top to allow you to dock an iPod or iPhone, but you can also wirelessly play music from any computer with iTunes 10.1 (Mac or PC), iOS device including iPods, iPads and iPhones using Apple's Airplay. The display on the front of the unit will even display the album artwork, or in the case of enhanced podcasts (e.g. The History of Photography podcast) it can display images from within the podcast. It can also display artist/track information. It has built-in FM radio with up to 10 presets. It looks unlike any other speaker set out there, with sound quality you'd expect from JBL and Harman Kardon. The distinct stereo imaging uses HALO (Horizontal Acoustic Level Optimization) to serve up rich, full sound across a wide listening area. It has a dual alarm clock that allows you to play music from any source, including radio and just a plain 'ol buzzer. There's a USB port that allows for easy future firmware upgrades. Just wish the speaker quality was a little better, it's lacking a little right now.
