The third generation of Creative Labs' Vado camcorder improves upon the already good camera, offering 720p high definition recording in a really small package. It will record about 2 hours of HD video on the internal memory, or significantly longer if you record at standard definition. There's no way of adding cards for more memory, but there's also nothing to lose or forget at home. The 2 inch LCD offers a good, if small preview of what you are shooting or what you've shot, and built-in USB and HDMI connections let you easily transfer it to your computer or simply hook it up to your HD television and watch your videos straight from the camera. It has no macro mode or built-in image stabilization, but it does have a feature that detects motion and automatically shoots when something enters the frame. The simple button on the front allows easy, one-touch recording, and the small size is fairly easy to handle in almost any hand, and easily fits in any pocket or purse.
