Samsung"s Galaxy S II Android smartphone runs on AT&T's 4G network. It has a big, bright, easy-to-see 4.3-inch Super AMOLED multi-touch screen, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and front- and rear-facing cameras. The front-facing 2 megapixel camera works for video conferencing with or without Wi-Fi if you're in a 4G area. For other functions, if 4G isn't available, the phone automatically connects to 3G and is set up to get the most from that technology, as well. It runs Gingerbread (Android 2.3) and has all the features and speed of any Android phone on the market today. It also has Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, backward-compatible to older Bluetooth devices, but offers improved streaming capabilities. A built-in HDMI port allows the phone to easily connect to an HDTV to watch content or for even better game play (e.g. if you want to play Angry Birds on your new 60-inch plasma, you can!). You can also watch videos you've shot with the phone's 8 megapixel camera or with it's 1080p video capabilities.   For more information or to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S II Android Smartphone, visit Amazon.com.   Read our Senior-Friendly Guide To Smartphones.
