Any loyal ElderGadget reader knows that we are somewhat obsessed with large screens. Whether that be for a digital camera, a T.V. screen, a digital camcorder, or a smartphone, large screens are crucial for aging adults that want to interact with technology. Because eyesight frequently diminishes with age, large screens are an undeniable asset. Apparently we aren't the only ones who have taken notice. This is especially important feature in the smartphone arms race, which seems to have reached new heights this summer. While Apple wants their phone to be slimmer and Android keeps making their phones to be a bit on the bigger side, both have realized that large screens are invaluable. A recent New York Times article perfectly identifies the the thrust of the trend:
