E-reader newcomer PocketBook is trying to carve a name for itself in a field filled with big whigs like Amazon Kindle and the Barnes & Noble Nook. So far, from what we can gauge, PocketBook is doing an impressive job. They recently announced five new e-readers, most interesting of which is known as the PocketBook IQ. The so-called "entertainment model" will come equipped with a number of useful features: touch-screen capabilities, WiFi, Bluetooth, and an Android 2.0 operating system. Seniors should expect an efficient, fast, and easy to master interface. This is especially true for those familiar with other Android models. Additionally, the screen measures 7-inches diagonally, a size which will be easier to transport than the Kindle, which measures 9.7 inches. (Though for those seniors that like bigness and size, the Kindle still might be the more superior option.) We should also mention that the PocketBook IQ comes with a color screen, a real gem for seniors that want something more than black and white and, understandably, want to enjoy their e-reading in color. The PocketBook IQ, along with the four other models, will be released this September. Pocketbook announces color touch screen Android powered e-reader and more - (EndGadget)
