Recommended Use: Running
The Nike+ Sportwatch features TomTom GPS and tracks your speed, distance, heart rate (with optional sensor), pace, time and calories burned. You can then see your progress on a map and how you compare to previous runs/bikes/hikes along the same route. It will keep up previous runs stored in memory plus on your computer. The rechargeable lithium polymer battery charges via USB and provides eight hours of run time with GPS and sensor turned on, and up to 50 days of standby power. You can even have challenges with friends as a member of nikeplus.com. You can even share your activities on Facebook or Twitter. The watch is very light, at 2.33 ounces, the display is very easy to see, with clean white letters on black, and it's waterproof to 5ATM (more than enough for a run in bad weather or a swim if you're not diving). With a USB port built into the watch, you can directly connect it to your computer without a cable. It can remind you to exercise, remembers your personal records, and stores your history.
