Sony’s 55-Inch Bravia XBR-series HDTV has local dimming sites on the LED panel to maximize picture quality and dynamic range while eliminating motion- and 3D artifacts. What that means is clear motion, easy-to-watch for hours on end if you’d like. The glass on the front is made of Corning Gorilla Glass for durability and clarity. It also has a lot of great web-connected streaming and other features, including Skype calls. It even features face recognition software so it automatically turns itself off when no one is watching it.
