A good set of noise-cancelling heaphones can make a huge difference in your ability to hear your music, talk radio, podcasts and more. Sennheiser's HD280 Pro headphones fit over your ears comfortably and passively take out the outside noise. Unlike battery-powered noise-cancelling headphones, these don't require batteries so you never find yourself without. The sound quality is very, very good and clean, and it actually improves after you've put some hours into using them. Frequency response is a super-low 8 Hz to a very high 25khz. The latter is a frequency your dog is more likely to hear than you are. The large, neodymium magnets help with the full, accurate sound that is be crystal clear. Gold plated contacts on the 3.5mm (1/8-inch) mini plug (fits most iPods, MP3 players, iPad, iPhone, etc.) and the 1/4-inch adapter mean minimal analog signal loss. I bought a set of these over a year ago, and I absolutely love them. They actually cut out more outside sound than the headset I use for the shooting range. I can walk along busy streets and listen to spoken-word podcasts at very low, comfortable levels. I can actually still hear enough of the traffic to know if something sounds like it's getting too close, but the sound is very clear. Also works just as well when mowing the lawn with a nice, loud gasoline-powered mower. I've even used them on planes, they can be great for just having nothing playing in them so you can sleep. They're big, over-the-ears type, but they're literally so comfortable and light that you forget they're there. They fold up a little to make carrying them very easy.
  • Dynamic, closed-ear headphones with up to 32 dB attenuation of outside sound
  • Lightweight and comfortable, ergonomic design
  • Extended frequency response and warm, natural sound reproduction
  • Collapsible ear-pieces for compact transport
  • Earpads, headband padding, and audio cord are easily replaceable, ensuring long life
