Cognitive distractions do not only occur when our
attention gets divided. Even in situations where we are trying to perform a singular task, our attention spans could be weighed down and the routine might suffer. This situation commonly occurs when we are bombarded with a number of visual distractions (known as visual clutter) that are hard to distinguish from one another.
