Lifetime Hearing Aid Provides Cheap and Effective Program

by Todd Peterson on May 2, 2009

New Perceptions in Hearing Inc., an Irving, Texas-based company, announced its nationwide release of a unique program that makes digital hearing aids more affordable for seniors. According to the Better Hearing Institute, three out of every 10 seniors older than 60 experience hearing loss. Many of these seniors cannot afford the hundreds or even thousands of dollars that hearing aids and their many accessories, including specialized batteries, can cost.

The New Perceptions program began at Hearing Haven LLC , in Carrollton, Texas. Affiliates are located throughout the state, though there are plans for a national expansion in the next 60 days. Interested healthcare professionals are encouraged to become affiliates by visiting the website, or calling Vincent Yero at (972) 819-2077.

The new subscription service will allow anyone to be fit with digital hearing aids with an initial activation fee and a monthly subscription. Some of the highlights of the plan include:

? Monthly payments are comparable to the cost of a cell phone – starting at $77 per month for two digital hearing aids, and $47 per month for one.

? New hearing aids are provided every 48 months at no additional cost for those who renew their subscriptions.

? There is a 30-day trial period.

? The plan can be canceled at any time, upon return of the hearing aids, with no early termination fee.

? After 48 months, the hearing aids belong to the subscriber.

? Hearing evaluations and fittings are provided by local healthcare providers.

? Repairs, adjustments, batteries and other needs are also included.

? Loss and damage protection is provided during the first two years.

? Hearing aids are available from a variety of respected manufacturers.
