In comparison to other smartphones, the iPhone comes with particularly impressive multimedia features. Take for example its digital photo functionality: to compliment the spacious 3.5 inch display screen, the iPhone 2G and the iPhone 3G are equipped with a fixed focus 2.0 megapixel camera. Given that most cameras on smart phones have only 1.3 megapixels (if you are lucky), the iPhone is indeed in a class of its own.
Yet, the iPhone 2G and the iPhone 3G have their photographic limitations: no zoom, no flash, or no video functionality. So for those of us that want more out of our iPhone's camera, we highly recommend the all-in-one camera application, Global Delight's
Camera Plus Pro. Some of its prime features include:
- A zoom that that allows you to capture a specific visual point with precision.
-The Camera Plus Pro comes with a video recorder to create high quality homemade videos. Don't underestimate the utility of video recording! (We should note that while the iPhone 3GS comes with a video recorder, its merit is debatable; the Camera Plus Pro video recorder is a sure-fire upgrade.)
-Easy-to-upload photos and videos to email, Flickr, Picasa, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter.
-A manual override so you could customize contrast, sharpness, temperature, and brightness if your artistic side desires.
-A nifty countdown timer.
-A handy cropping tool.
Additionally, the Camera Plus Pro has a very simple intuitive interface because its touch-screen icons are clearly marked and easy to navigate. Needless to say, the Camera Plus Pro is no stranger to elder friendly features. With Camera Plus Pro, you are not going to miraculously become the modern reincarnation of Ansel Adam overnight but rest assured, for only $1.99, you are investing in the best iPhone camera technology available.
To clarify, the Camera Plus Pro is an iPhone App. Co if you have an iPhone, you can make calls and use Camera Plus Pro. If you have an iPhome, we suggest that you go ahead and download the Camera Plus Pro through the App store.

I've been looking for someplace that will tell a neophyte about all this technology. I'm about to invest in a 52"LED TV, and I want to get the best for the money, of course, but also be able to utilize all the get new features. I'll be looking for your info on this as time goes on. Thanks for your help.
