More U.S. Adults Own eReaders Than Tablets
eReaders vs Tablets for BoomersIn a recent survey by Pew Research Center, the number of adults in the United States with eReaders has doubled since November, from 6% to 12%. Tablet adoption has been slower, though still at a respectable 8%, with iPad topping the list. There is some crossover with those numbers, as some people own both a tablet and an eReader. The report from the Pew Research Center shows that households with an annual income of 0ver $75000 a year have the highest percentage of this kind of technology. Men have bought more of the devices than women, and there are other statistics on the report, which can be seen here.
