Facebook came in close to last among social media sites when it comes to customer service, according to a study conducted by the American Customer Satisfaction Index. Despite its nearly 850 million users, the site scored a 61 on the satisfaction survey, which was one of the lowest scores of any company listed in the index. This is an 8 percent drop for Facebook from a year ago.
In comparison, Google+ received a 78, YouTube came in at 73, Pinterest nabbed a 69, Twitter scored a 64 and LinkedIn rated a 63.
The report also notes Facebook had one of the five lowest scores of all companies indexed. It also set a new record low in the e-business category. Experts at the American Customer Satisfaction Index said Facebook users complained about ads more than anything else.
