A Sprint-centric blog has reported that the carrier will be offering customers that may be at a high risk of leaving steep discounts on new gadgets. Which customers will be targeted and how much they will be offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis, the blog says.
Offers will be sent out Feb. 5 via snail mail and email. Those deemed a flight risk will be offered $25, $50 or $100. These discounts can be applied toward the customer’s next upgrade — as long as they sign a new two-year service contract.
