Verizon customers have been dealing with outages of 3G and 4G data networks and have been having issues even with calls according to Verizon support forums and Verizon twitter feeds for the past few days. It's the second time the network has been hit in December, with glitches in the system. The 4G/LTE seems to be coming back online so far. Verizon representatives are working on it, "with no timeline" for full recovery at this point.
