Asus' new Eee Pad, the Transformer Prime, is a 10.1-inch tablet available with 32- or 64GB of storage, and either Amethist Grey or Champagne in color. The "Transformer Prime" name comes from the fact that it has a docking keyboard that makes it very netbook-like. Without the keyboard, it's really slim and light, at .33 inches and 1.29 lbs. The 1280x800 touch screen has a 178-degree viewing angle, it's crisp and clear. It's covered with Corning Gorilla Glass, so it's very tough and scratch-resistant. It has front- (1.2 megapixel) and rear-facing (8 megapixel) cameras for video chats, photos and videos. It runs Adobe Flash and almost every app on the Android Market. It currently runs Honeycomb (Android 3), but it is upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). Performance is blazing fast, with a first ever quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The keyboard has its own battery and adds up to 6 hours of additional time to the tablet. For more information or to purchase an Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet, visit Amazon.com.
