Vizio's new 8-inch tablet offers budget buyers a good chance to get a tablet. It has a decent sized screen, a single-core 1GHZ processor, 4GB of built-in storage (expandable by up to 32GB with optional microSD cards, and has a multi-touch display. It's not as responsive as other Android tablets on the market, and it doesn't currently run Honeycomb (it currently ships with Gingerbread, Android 2.3, which is made for phones), but it's also a lot less expensive than many other tablets. One cool feature it has is an infrared emitter, so with the Universal Remote app (preinstalled) you can control your TV or other devices that use IR. It has a front-facing camera for video chats, an HDMI output for viewing movies and other content on your HDTV, built-in GPS for using Google Maps and more. The navigation buttons for home, back and menu are at the bottom of the screen, regardless of the orientation of the device.
